Tuesday was a good news day. Yet, the fear, anxiety and worry was evident in people’s voices as they talked about the doors to long-term care homes and seniors’ assisted living residence opening a crack after a 3½ month lockdown.

A single, designated family member, properly attired in personal protective equipment, with no sign of illness and no exposure to COVID will be allowed in for scheduled and time-limited visits.
