Certificate in Web Development with Practicum

The certificate in Web Development (crop program of Diploma in Full-Stack Web Development) has a duration of 18 weeks designed for students wanted to join the field of web application development, front-end and back-end development for small, medium, and large-size businesses in the modern business environment.This area of work is one of the most wanted employment areas in BC. According to BC Labor Market Outlook 2022, during the next 10 years, there will be a huge demand in the market providing an opportunity for students to prepare themselves for future demand in the job market. Upon completion of the Certificate, the successful students will have the ability to explain major concepts related to front-end/client development, and back-end/server development areas.

Admission Requirement

    1. Applicants must be graduated from grade 12 OR 2. Must be at least 19 years of age prior to starting of the study period, and provide proof of meeting English language competency requirements any one of the following: • Grade 12 English/Communication or University or College level English Course (non-ESL) where English is the principal language of the country and the language of instruction as well: minimum C is acceptable. •

2.Proof of Two-year Diploma from a recognized institution where English is the principal language of the country and the language of instruction.

3.Applicants must have ONE of the following as proof of Language Proficiency .

• English as Mode of Instruction from prior education: Minimum grade C is required
• Standardized English Language Test ReportFor applicants whose first language is not English, evidence of one of the following test scores:
