Long-Term Care Aide |
Program Overview |
This part-time program, 8 hours a week, is an intensive version of the Resident Care Aide program and is designed for working individuals who would like to have flexibility in their schedule. Whether an applicant is a health care professional who wants to update their skills and knowledge, or a non-health care professional who wants to have a career in the health care field, this flexible fast-tract program will help them achieve their goal successfully without interrupting their work schedule. Although it is a part-time program, students should be available full-time for two weeks for their practicum training at the end of the program. Student loans are available for qualified local students.
*Please note that this program is not offered to international students because Immigration Canada requires international students study full-time. |
